Through the years, competitive athletics have provided our students with valuable opportunities to work, grow, and mature. They learn life lessons such as teamwork, dedication, and responsibility and practice respect for opponents and the rules. They develop the ability to win and lose with grace. At San Jacinto, our athletic programs are designed to assure that all athletes learn the proper skills from the best possible coaches. While we acknowledge that not all students are suited to four years of high school athletics, it is our hope that each athlete will want to play the sport of his or her choosing until graduation.
