Dear Seniors and Families,
As we prepare for the upcoming virtual ceremony on June 4, 2020, we want to provide some preliminary information and next steps. Please continue to monitor emails and the school website for updates.
***Please note that these plans do not include plans for our traditional ceremony to be held at a later date. The plans and details for a traditional graduation commencement ceremony will be shared once additional guidance is provided by local and state health officials. The plans below are specific to the Virtual Graduation Ceremony.
All SJHS Graduation Requirements must be completed by May 26, 2020.
As we will be having a traditional ceremony at a later date, the gowns that have been purchased by SJUSD will not be distributed until that time.
We do want to provide you with your tassels and caps so that you can decorate, wear, and share during the virtual ceremony if you wish. The cap decorating is a fun tradition that began last year and we want students to be able to continue that tradition for the virtual ceremony! Share your pics on social media during the virtual ceremony!
