Principal's Message

Greetings staff, students, and parents of San Jacinto High School,

My name is Luke Smith and I am the Proud Principal of San Jacinto High School: a place where students, parents, teachers, administration, staff, and the community focus their time and energy on student success and college and career readiness. Our mission and vision is very clear: we seek to become an exemplary school--period.  To achieve that, we believe in providing a vast array of options for students to find their path to this success and that it is our responsibility to motivate them to pursue their passions and to facilitate the construction of their futures. We believe strongly in shared leadership, multi-tiered systems of support, the use of cutting edge technology and research-based instructional methods, collaborative teaching and learning environments through Professional Learning Communities, developing social responsibility amongst our students, and building caring, trusting relationships with all stakeholders in our school. San Jacinto High School is proud of our rich traditions that have defined us for over a century while we constantly look forward to a bright future of our students and school community.

I very much look forward to the 2018-2019 school year as we focus on going deeper and getting stronger while moving forward toward our vision of becoming an exemplary school!

Thank you and kind regards,

Luke Smith

Proud Principal
