ABOUT ASB

Welcome to the heart and soul of San Jacinto High School – the Associated Student Body, or ASB for short! ASB is not just a club or organization; it is the vibrant heartbeat of our school, representing the voice, spirit, and unity of our student body.

Being a part of ASB at SJHS is a privilege and a responsibility. It means being a leader, a role model, and a voice for your fellow students. ASB members are the bridge between the student body and the school administration, working tirelessly to create a positive and inclusive school culture where everyone feels heard, valued, and supported.

As a representative of SJHS through ASB, you have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of your peers and in the overall school community. Whether it's organizing events, leading initiatives, or simply being a friendly face in the hallways, each ASB member plays a crucial role in shaping the school's environment and fostering a sense of belonging for all students.

So, if you're passionate about making a positive impact, building strong relationships, and embodying the values of SJHS, then ASB is the perfect place for you. Join us in shaping a bright and exciting future for San Jacinto High School, where every student's voice is heard, and every idea is valued. Together, let's make a difference and create unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.

Hey it’s Vicky, I’m extremely excited for this semester  not only to show off school spirit but to see you all at our events we have prepared for this year! I’ve been in ASB since middle school and from what I’ve learned, it’s definitely the club to be in to stay involved and have funsies! I enjoy reading, painting, working, and mini-photo shoots with my dog Foxy! And in my free time I like to listen to my favorite artists, Kali Uchis and NewJeans or play Dress to Impress. I can’t wait to make new connections with everyone and have an amazing year. :)

Claudia, Student Board Member

I’m Claudia Zavala and I am thrilled to be the SJUSD Student Board Member for the 2024-2025 school year. This is my second year in ASB and I’ve made some wonderful memories. ASB has taught me ways to develop my leadership skills and how to be more active in our community. During my free time I like spending time with my friends and family whether it’s going to parties or just hanging out with them. I also enjoy listening to music and finding new genres to add to my playlist. 🤍
