Our Video Production CTE pathway at San Jacinto High School offers a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on the technical and creative aspects of creating video content. Students learn about camera operation, lighting techniques, sound design, editing, and storytelling principles.

SJHS students gain hands-on experience with professional video equipment and software, allowing them to produce high-quality videos for various purposes such as short films, documentaries, news segments, and promotional videos. The program emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and project management skills as students work on individual and group video projects. Through this pathway, students develop a strong foundation in video production and are prepared for careers in the film and television industry, digital marketing, multimedia journalism, and other related fields.
Upon finishing the Arts, Media, and Entertainment pathway, students will have the opportunity to initiate the Adobe certification process at no cost through our partnership with Adobe. The need for hiring creative digital artists is increasing in various industries, including graphic design and video editing. Visual and interactive communication plays a significant role in our everyday interactions and is projected to become even more critical in the future.
By mastering some of the most advanced creative software tools globally, Adobe Certified Professionals are equipped to apply their skills in practical scenarios, utilizing visual communication to solve problems in innovative ways.
